Official Launch of the Justina Mutale Scholarship Programme

As a committee member I was honoured to be invited to give a motivational speech at the Official Launch of the Justina Mutale Scholarship Programme at the High Commission of Zambia, London

The Justina Mutale Scholarship Programme has been set up to provide opportunities for academically gifted young African women from underprivileged backgrounds in Africa to pursue higher education at overseas institutions of learning. The objective is to equip them with the necessary skills and competencies to help realise the United Nations’ Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). Otherwise known as Global Goals, these SDGs are also designed to enable young women to take up leadership roles and effectively contribute to the development of Africa from a global perspective.
These objectives are the very essence of the Justina Mutale Foundation which is why we have partnered with the European School of Economics and other prestigious institutions around the world to offer both Undergraduate and Post Graduate courses to the gifted students who are granted a scholarship. The courses available are International Business; Leadership; and STEM subjects (Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics).
