Miss Africa GB 2015 – Queens-4-a-Reason Charity Mission to Equatorial Guinea – Guest speaker

Honoured to be a guest speaker at a fund raising event for Miss Africa Great Britain 2015 at the Ripple Centre in London on 19th March 2016. Susana Owono is preparing for her Queens 4 a Reason Charity Mission to Equatorial Guinea which is her home country. She will visit two school: one for orphaned kids and the other for disabled children. Susana will donate stationery and learning aids as well as donating wheelchairs and mobility aids to the disabled school.

Miss Africa Great Britain is a pageant open to Africans living in the England, Scotland and Wales. The pageant is highly competitive and seeks to bring out those leadership qualities in women. The winner becomes a goodwill ambassador for Miss Africa GB, charged with designing and implementing a charity program based on her Pageant Platform.

Susana was crowned on the 10th of October 2015 in London and described her charity program in these words:
“Providing the tools for school life is a simple first step to improving a child’s chances for success and consequently future livelihood opportunities. I propose to acquire as many exercise books, pens, Pencils, school bags for as many students as possible. I will also be using this opportunity to provide wheelchairs for disabled school children in dire need of them. ”
