About the event:
The inaugural International Fashion Showcase is set to take place during London Fashion Week during February 2012. 19 embassies and cultural institutes across London will open their doors and display the work of over 80 international emerging designers. The public, together with international press and buyers, will have the opportunity to explore the collections of some of the most innovative, emerging fashion designers from around the world.
The Botswana High Commission is participating in this on 15th February with the Botswana Showcase 2012 and is scheduled to run a Fashion Show at Limkokwing Universitity on 24th February. The showcase and fashion show will exhibit the work of 5 designers from Botswana including 3 being flown over from Botswana especially for the event and also includes Beryl Phala who currently resides in Manchester. Boikanyo will be one of the models and Asalepele Omphile will be too! The Botswana High Commission is looking for sponsorship for various aspects of the fashion show and all that remains is the provision of photographic services ideally both stills and video. If you are interested or know a photog who might be please let me know!
BME sponsored the accommodation for the 5 designers for the 7 nights from 18th to 24th February in a luxury apartment in Knightsbridge and have also organised professional photographic services at a special price!

The Limkokwing University of Creative Technology – London campus are proudly hosting the most celebrated ”Creativity in Motion” which are the fashion ideas from the world’s next generation in partnership with the Botswana High Commission in conjunction with the Botswana at the London Fashion Week, which is starting from 20th Febuary 2012.
It gives me great pleasure to invite you to the Fashion Show on the 24th of February 2012, Friday at Limkokwing University – 106 Piccadilly London W1J 7NL. It will be an amazing experience and it would be a pleasure to meet you wonderful people who has been a friend with the Limkokwing family.
