BME arranged a Christmas party for the kids of Sexaxa (pronounced Sekaka with a clicky k). The kids have to walk 11 miles to school without breakfast (18km). Miss BME 2009 took place on 4th July 2009 and was a well attended closely fought contest featuring 10 lovely contestants from various cities in Botswana. The winner was . . . Portia who is now Miss BME 2009 for a year.
