More Maun beauties for international pageants!

It goes without saying that Maun is blessed with beautiful young women. Beauties from the Boikanyo Model Extraordinaire (BME) will represent the country in the Miss Commonwealth and the Miss Global events to take place later this year in London and Jamaica, respectively. Four girls from BME – Portia Sam, Angela Atlang, Lesego Rita George and Kepeo Nkakobang – will participate in the Miss Charity Commonwealth, Miss Commonwealth, Miss Teen Commonwealth and Miss Global International pageants. The Miss Commonwealth International is a unique beauty pageant which associates with tasks of working for charity in their own country. The Miss Global International Pageant boasts the theme “Uniting the World through Beauty and Tourism.” The BME representatives were selected for the 2011 event — three models for the Teen, Miss and Charity titles in the Miss Commonwealth International pageant and one for the Miss Global International title. Pictured (from left to right) are Portia Sam, Lesego George, Kepeo Nkakobang and (inset) Angela Atlang.
