As we approach the month of March, Saturday, March 8th is the celebration of  International  Womens Day all over the world. Why? Because Women’s equality has made positive gains but the world is still unequal. International Women’s Day celebrates the social, political and economic achievements of women while focusing world attention on areas requiring further action.

AWE team is encouraging individual members to organise a “Morning Coffee” in their country of residence on the day.

Sender us your photos and stories on how you spent the month of March 2014 as we celebrate International Womens day, tell us about the event that you attended in the month as part of this celebrations. We would love to hear from you. Add this information on our AWE online discussions or blog or send us an email  info@africanwomenineurope.eu
